A one-day immersive workshop on natural dyeing with cultivated desert plants. Participants will explore the process of transforming raw plant materials into natural dyes and learn fundamental fabric dyeing techniques. Each attendee will leave with dye samples, detailed notes, and their own hand-dyed silk scarf and cotton bandana created during the class.

This immersive workshop will introduce participants to fragrance blending techniques, structure, and materials. Students will work with a wide range of professional grade botanical essences and as a group, we will harvest and distill our own forest hydrosol on the beautiful Pilchuck campus tree farm. Each student will leave with an 8ml glass bottle of their own unique alcohol-based perfume.

Join us at Ox-Bow School of Art for a week-long class on casting hollow-core glass vessels and the fundamentals of fragrance construction. In addition to technical demonstrations, the workshop will explore the historical and conceptual intersections between glass and perfume.

Create your own Foraging Basket - perfect for mushroom hunting, hiking, gardening, or visiting your local farmer’s market! In this two-day intensive we will create tote-bag style baskets using natural and dyed rattan reed. Each student will leave with their own finished basket.
