We offer private sessions, custom group workshops, special events, and team building events for businesses, retreats, private parties and corporate groups.
The High Desert Observatory can customize many of the offerings listed online to fit most sized groups and budgets. We’ll gladly work with you to create an entirely new workshop or experience.
We offer a wide variety of classes including; guided wilderness hikes, indigo dyeing, fabric dyeing, batik, shibori, textile marbling, felting, basket-making, wooden spoon-carving, leatherwork, natural skincare (infused oils, lip-balm, handmade lotions, creams and salves), perfume making, scent distillation, hyrdrosal distillation, soap-making, incense, natural paint and pigment making, watercolor painting from observation, and landscape sketching.
