Learn the fundamentals of glass casting and pâte-de-verre while creating a lidded glass box with decorative carvings and a sculpted handle. Students will learn both lost-wax and pâte-de-verre techniques in a hands-on workshop that will cover: wax-sculpting, painting with glass powders, mold-making, glass cutting and calculation, basic coldworking, and firing theory.

This course is suitable for all skill levels, including absolute beginners.
